About Us
Our Mission
Elevate Church exists to reach thousands for Jesus
and to feed, tend, and love them.
Jesus told Peter “feed my people”. It is our passion to feed the Word of God to Men, Women, Boys, Girls, Young, and Old. We believe that the Bible brings life change to the lives and souls of people. Jesus said “if we remain in Him, and His words in us, that our life will produce much fruit.”
Feed
Jesus told Peter “take care of my sheep”. As animals find protection inside the herd from predators, we believe that people find life and protection inside God-centered relationships. We believe that everyone needs healthy relationships, and community, to become all that Jesus has called us to be.
Tend
Jesus told Peter “then tend my lambs”. We understand that everyone is in a different season with Jesus. No matter what season of life, or what they may be facing, we are going to love people just as they are. Jesus is our example for all situations, and we will follow his examples - just as He loved the woman at the well, the disciples, or the criminal hanging on the cross beside Him.

Our Beliefs
-
The Bible was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs about living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without error.
2 Timothy 3:16, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Peter 1:21
-
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.
Philippians 2:6, John 14:28, John 16:28, John 1:14, John 1:1, John 1:18, John 15:26
-
We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and no one comes to the Father but by Him.
Romans 5:14, Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23, 1 John 3:8, Ephesians 2:8, John 14:6
-
The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation is a gift from God, and it cannot be earned through our own efforts. We believe that in order to receive forgiveness we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives. The New Birth is necessary to all men, and when experienced, produces eternal life.
2 Corinthians 7:10, 1 John 5:12, John 3:3-5, John 3:16

We practice baptism by immersion under water – the way Jesus was baptized. Once you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, we believe water baptism is an important step as a statement of faith. This is a declaration of our identity with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:4, Colossians 2:12, Acts 8:36-39
-
We believe that God is good, and He desires for our bodies to be healthy and whole so we may be able to serve Him with our whole being; living a fruitful abundant life in Him. We believe it is God’s will according to His Word for all men to be healed.
John 10:10, Psalm 103:3, Mark 16:18, James 5:14-25, 1 Peter 2:24, Matthew 8:17, Isaiah 53:4-5

We believe that God wants us to be victorious in life! As a believer we need God’s power within us to help us live everyday. When a heart is surrendered to Jesus through salvation, growth should take place in a believer’s life through obedience to the Word of God, daily yielding to the Spirit of God, and being conformed to the image of Christ. So, we seek to practice a daily dependence on God’s Spirit to enable us to do what is right and to obey God’s command to “be filled with the Spirit.” The Bible teaches that this experience is received by faith and is often evidenced by the accompanying supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including speaking in tongues.

The Church is a local community of believers united through faith in Christ. We are committed to the teaching of Jesus Christ, to obeying all of His commands, and to bringing the Gospel to this world. The Church works together in love and unity, to bring glory to Christ.

Prayer is our ability to communicate with God our Father at any time. Through Jesus’ salvation, we no longer need an intercessor to go between God and us; we can address Him directly.

Our 8 Core Values
Our Pastors
Jeff and Jess Werkmeister are the founders of Elevate Church. In 2015, God called them to begin a church that is not typical. A place where people can come and have fun, feel accepted and forever be changed by the power of Jesus.
“We live our lives with the sole purpose and passion to make Jesus known to people. We work to establish His Kingdom on the earth and build His church so that others may know the fullness of life in Him through the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe in people, and that when their hearts connect with His love their potential is limitless. We desire to see people find freedom and victory in Jesus and be released into their purpose and calling; and in return influence the world around them.”
- Pastor Jeff Werkmeister
In 2003, they began a journey to fulfill the vision God gave them to see a generation change their misconceptions of church and Jesus. Jeff and Jess have been in full-time ministry for 15 years. Working with children, youth and adults they have been able to gain God’s perspective for all walks of life. Their heart is to reach families and and to see each individual living in their purpose.
Jeff is a passionate speaker and leader and loves to present God’s word in a relatable and exciting way. His passion for life is contagious and his love for Jesus is evident in the way he loves others. Jessica has led worship for 15+ years and has taught and led children, youth and adults.
